Mizzonk Workshop Limited was co-founded in 1998 in New York City. In the early years, the company provided custom woodwork including fabrication of architectural models for clients who were primarily New York based architects. In 2002, Mizzonk Workshop Ltd. moved to Maple Ridge, B.C. Canada. Inspired by its rural environment, the company focused on designing and producing its own furniture collection, art pieces, gifts and home accessories.

Roger Chen and Wan-Yi Lin, BA in Architecture and MFA in ceramics/sculpture respectively, both graduates of the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY are both the cofounders and principles of Mizzonk Workshop Ltd. As designers and artists by nature and training, the collaboration between them has made Mizzonk Workshop Limited a creative studio driven by inspirations from both materials and nature. Their work reflects an artist’s sensibility, discipline, and craftsmanship.
